Patty Cole Gregory, LCSW, ATR is a licensed clinical social worker, registered art therapist and registered play therapist who works with children, youth, families and adults. She has worked with children, adolescents and teens for over 35 years, and as a therapist for 20 years. Her work draws from traditional talk therapy, as well as art therapy, play and sandplay therapy. Patty uses these modalities to engage each client in a collaborative effort to develop understanding and create change. She believes deeply in the capacity of the arts to facilitate healing, growth and well-being.
Patty has worked in a variety of settings including; independent practice, community outpatient mental health, adolescent residential treatment, and refugee services. She also provides professional supervision for therapists who work with children, adolescents, teens and families.
Patty holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree from Georgia State University, a Masters of Social Work degree specializing in Youth and Family Work from the University of Georgia, as well as an equivalent Masters degree in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
