Jim Harris, L.C.S.W.
.Suite 201 B
Jim Harris is a clinical social worker providing child, adolescent, adult, and couples therapy. My practice is client centered, and we work together on developing goals and a therapy process that meets each individual’s needs. Issues addressed in therapy can range from concrete problem solving to longer-range individual growth and change. Psychotherapy can be effective on both a short-term and long-term basis depending on what the client wants to work on. Time spent in therapy and ways to work on issues are developed between the client and therapist. We work together to figure out what would best help each person’s individual needs.
My clinical training was at the University of Georgia. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work. I work with all age groups. I am affiliated with most managed care insurance companies. I accept both insurance and self-pay. I have a sliding fee scale and make every attempt to work with my clients where finances are a concern.
My prior educational training was at the University of Texas. I worked as a social and economic consultant. My business background brings my clients additional expertise for those individuals who have job and career concerns. I am able to combine personal growth therapy and business coaching to my clients wanting to work in these areas.
